Obituary for Benjamin Henry

Benjamin Henry, 95, son of Alfred & Orphia (Lambert) Henry, was born August 4, 1924 in Blairstown, New Jersey. He passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at his daughters home in Guthrie Center, Iowa.
On September 9, 1966, he married Dorothy Henry in Blairstown, NJ. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was loved by all who knew him. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Benjamin is survived by his daughters, Beth (Clint) Matthias; Cheryl (Read) Hall; and Judi Mott; sons, Benjamin A. Henry; Eddie (Annette) Mott; James Mott; Matthew (Chris) Mott; Seth (Barbara) Mott; Jeffery (Butch) Mott; Rich (Jessie) Mott; Rusty Mott; and Craig Mott; 40 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, 2 brothers Bert & Phil Henry, 2 sisters Alice Kise & Kay Henry, 2 granddaughters Dawn Mott & Alicia LaBar, and daughter-in-law Cathy Henry.
Cremation will take place and burial of his cremains will be in Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Blairstown, NJ at a later date. Arrangements handled by Twigg Funeral Home, Guthrie Center.
The family would like to thank the Hospice of the Midwest and all our First United Methodist Church family for all their love and support during this difficult time.
